In "erinnerte Zeit, gebrochen" (remembered time, fragmented) my central concern is with overlapping distinct - time - structures. The overlaps, extended in all parameters, allow the structural axes to be unstable, delicate. The macroform is characterized by substitutions of process-related transitions and blocklike passages, in each of which a particular course of musical structure and tonality is developed. An association of paths could arise, different threads of which are picked up again at later points in time.
