I was stimulated to work on "In Sich Ohne Ausweg", especially by dealing with visual art. The question arose for me whether and to what extent plastic surface structures are transformed into sonic structures, i.e. by means of Fourier analysis, sounds could be generated after the presentation of an (optical) relief.
The piece "In Sich Ohne Ausweg" was composed between January 1994 and August 1994. It is a purely digital piece, the basic structures of which were created using PPP (an algorithmic composition language developed at ICEM). The sound material comes from the Klöcknerwerke Dortmund, among others.
